Meet Amanda
Amanda is a Chartered Professional Accountant based in St. John’s, NL, with over five years of specialized experience in assurance engagements. She graduated from Memorial University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Co-op) Honours degree, completing two accounting work-term placements in the oil and gas industry one in government accounting. After graduation, Amanda pursued her CPA designation while working at the Office of the Auditor General. There, she quickly advanced to the role of audit manager within just three years, overseeing major audits for government departments and Crown corporations.
Amanda’s meticulous attention to detail, combined with her deep expertise in financial analysis, auditing, and tax preparation, ensures compliance and accuracy in every engagement. She is highly proficient in the latest accounting standards and technologies, allowing her to deliver reliable results.
Amanda excels at interpreting complex financial data and communicating insights clearly to clients and colleagues.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending quality time with her partner, family, and friends. As a passionate cat lover, she can often be found volunteering at a local animal shelter, dedicating her time to helping animals in need. Always eager to broaden her horizons, Amanda enjoys exploring both the natural beauty of our province and traveling abroad to experience new cultures. She also enjoys playing video games, which provide a relaxing escape while sparking her creativity and sharpening her strategic thinking.
